What is NexumTrader?
NexumTrader is an order-routing service that bridges TradingView alerts to MetaTrader 5 (MT5). When your TradingView strategy fires an alert, NexumTrader receives it via webhook and instantly forwards the trade to every MT5 account you have connected, each with its own risk rules, trading windows, and permissions.
Who is NexumTrader built for?
NexumTrader is built for prop-firm traders, signal providers, and multi-account traders who want to automate execution across multiple MT5 accounts without writing custom code. If you trade on TradingView and execute on MT5, NexumTrader is the bridge.
How does signal routing work?
You connect your TradingView strategy to NexumTrader using a webhook URL. When your strategy fires, TradingView sends a JSON alert to NexumTrader, which validates it, applies per-account risk rules, and pushes the order to your connected MT5 accounts via the Expert Advisor (EA). The whole process typically takes 500ms to 1s.
What is the Expert Advisor (EA)?
The EA is a small MQL5 program you attach to any MT5 chart. It polls the NexumTrader servers every few seconds, picks up pending orders, and executes them inside MT5. You download the EA directly from the dashboard, and no MQL5 knowledge is required to use it.
What do I need to use NexumTrader?
You need two things: MetaTrader 5 (MT5), which is available free from your broker, and a paid TradingView account (Essential plan or higher) to send webhook alerts. The free TradingView plan does not support webhooks. Beyond that, just a NexumTrader subscription and you are ready to go.
Do I need coding knowledge to set this up?
No. You install the EA by dragging it into MT5, paste your webhook URL into TradingView, and you are done. The setup wizard in the dashboard walks you through each step. If you can follow a checklist, you can have signals routing in under 30 minutes.
Which brokers and MT5 accounts are supported?
NexumTrader works with any MT5 account at any broker. It connects at the chart level via the EA, so there is no broker-side integration required. This includes prop-firm accounts (FTMO, MyForexFunds, etc.) and retail brokers alike.
What format do TradingView alerts need to be in?
NexumTrader accepts a simple JSON payload in the alert message field. Your signal needs an action (buy, sell, close), a symbol, and optionally a stop-loss, take-profit, and lot size or risk percentage. The full message format is documented on the Setup page inside the dashboard.
How many MT5 accounts can I connect?
Essential supports up to 4 MT5 accounts. Pro supports up to 8. Every connected account receives the signal simultaneously, with no additional per-account charge.
How many charts can the EA run on at once?
Essential allows up to 2 active EA chart connections per account, and Pro allows up to 3. Running the EA on additional charts beyond your limit shows a "Chart Limit Reached" status in MT5 until another chart is closed or your plan is upgraded.
What happens when I reach my chart limit?
The EA that exceeds your chart quota displays a "Chart Limit Reached" label inside MT5 and stops receiving signals. Your existing connected charts continue to work normally. Closing one of them immediately frees a slot.
What is a trading window?
A trading window is a time range during which an account is allowed to receive and execute signals. You configure start and end times per account in the dashboard. Outside the window, signals are ignored for that account, which is useful for avoiding overnight or news-event exposure.
